Backyard Playground is here!

Here is my portion of the ADS Designers Mega Collab Kit “Backyard Playground”. When we decided on the theme for this months (hint hint! does that mean there could be more?? hehe) collab kit, we were instructed to think back to our childhood and make our part based on our experiences. I grew up on a farm and spent hours with my brother and cousins exploring and finding little “treasures” everywhere! We had a ginormous rock collection and my mom always had empty margarine tubs filled with “wild flowers” (a.k.a. weeds lol). We always had pockets full of rusty metal pieces (it’s a wonder none of us got tetnus! lol) and lost toys from years ago. I had a lot of fun making this kit, it was fun to think back and remember all the times we got yelled at for taking a “treasure” from my dad’s shop that he needed to finish fixing something! Oh and the bowl of “stone soup”!! Who else remembers making stone soup for their mom?!? Being the oldest child, I believe I got yelled at more than once for making my little brother/cousin drink the “broth” lol I think I may have actually squealed when I found that pic! The ADS Designers are at it again!!  We have another huge ginormous collab kit coming on July 1st!  This time there are 45, yes 45, designers participating!!  The kit is called “Backyard Playground” and it is geared towards boys, YAY!!  I’ve seen most of the previews, man are you guys in for a treat!!!   It’s HUGE, it’s gorgeous and it’s all for the boys!!  Be sure to come back July 1st, and have your snaggin’ fingers warmed up and LOTS of harddrive space free, cause your gonna need it!

I’m so sorry everyone, I have no idea what happened to it.  Thank you so much Janet for letting me know it wasn’t working!! Hmmm, 7 weird, random facts about me…..

1. I am a total chocolate freak, in fact, I would be chocolate if I could be lol, but I absolutely despise chocolate pudding! Makes me gag just thinking about it!

2. I moved 23 times in the 11 years after I graduated high school, but I’ve been in the house I’m in now for almost 9 years.

3. Holy carp, I graduated from high school 20 years ago!!!

4. In my perfect world, peanut M&M’s would come from a dispenser in the wall, and there would be a never ending supply (kinda like water;) )

5. In my opinion, Skeet Ulrich is the worlds hottest man. Those eyes just make me melt. hehe

6. My 2 best friends are about as opposite as 2 people can get. One is a fairly conservative, responsible single mom of 4 kids. The other, well, he’s a bald headed, pierced and tattooed, Harley riding truck driver. But they are both the sweetest, kindest, most generous, amazingly wonderful people I know.

she’s finally lost it

I’m pretty sure that’s what my neighbours were thinking when they saw me outside taking pictures of my laundry the other day! lol One of the challenges this month at BTST is to make a LO with the word “fresh” in it, and one of my favorite things is fresh line dried laundry, especially at this time of the year. Anyways, here is the layout I made with some of the pics.
