Here is my portion of the ADS Designers Mega Collab Kit “Backyard Playground”. When we decided on the theme for this months (hint hint! does that mean there could be more?? hehe) collab kit, we were instructed to think back to our childhood and make our part based on our experiences. I grew up on a farm and spent hours with my brother and cousins exploring and finding little “treasures” everywhere! We had a ginormous rock collection and my mom always had empty margarine tubs filled with “wild flowers” (a.k.a. weeds lol). We always had pockets full of rusty metal pieces (it’s a wonder none of us got tetnus! lol) and lost toys from years ago. I had a lot of fun making this kit, it was fun to think back and remember all the times we got yelled at for taking a “treasure” from my dad’s shop that he needed to finish fixing something!
Oh and the bowl of “stone soup”!! Who else remembers making stone soup for their mom?!? Being the oldest child, I believe I got yelled at more than once for making my little brother/cousin drink the “broth”
lol I think I may have actually squealed when I found that pic! LOL Anyways, here is the preview for my part. The download link is below the preview, and below that is the list of links for the remaining portions of this huge kit. Please keep in mind that the designers that are participating are located all over the world, and life sometimes gets in the way of digifun, so if you happen to come across a designer that hasn’t been able to get her link up yet, please be patient and try again later. Don’t forget to leave some luv for all these hard working designers!

In reading over my post for errors, I started to think, “is it any wonder my brother still hates me??” lol Although I suspect it could have more to do with the childhood blackmail photos I blew up and plastered all over the walls at his wedding reception, but that’s a whole other post!;)
HAPPY SCRAPPIN’!

Love your awesome elements. Unfortunately, my boys would have had an ant under the magnifying glass, not a pinecone! lol (Don’t worry, they mended their ways, one is getting his PHd in Evolutionary Biology!) Thanks so much for your awesome addition to this wonderful kit!

Oh, totally love your parts to this fantastic kit!!!
OH! I just love this mega kit. I am a mother of four boys and have a in home child care where I care for 4 boys so I have lots of pictures to use with this kit.
I didn’t make stone soup but I did make mud pies, after they baked we ate them, bugs, leaves and all. Maybe that is why I don’t have any stomach problems like these kids that their mothers don’t let them play in the dirt.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful kit.
Ms Kittie
